Centre for Living with Dying
The Centre for Living with Dying
Supported since 1972
The Centre for Living with Dying program offers counseling services to children, adults and families who are facing life-threatening illness and to those who are deeply affected by the approaching or actual death of loved ones.
The Centre provides immediate crisis intervention to community members, agencies, schools, and corporations, when death, illness, trauma, natural disaster or violence strikes. Educational programs dealing with grief, loss and trauma are provided to first responders who are on the front lines.
Carolyn Anderson, VML President, presents a check to Centre for Living with Dying representative Janet Childs.
At the April 18th, 2016 Valle Monte League Board of Directors meeting, a check was presented on behalf of the League's 2016 annual donation garnished from Christmas Tree Elegance 2015 to The Centre for Living with Dying.
Valle Monte League, Inc. supports The Healing Heart Grief Counseling Program, for children and adolescents facing loss. In a compassionate environment, these children can freely express their feelings and learn positive coping strategies.
