Family & Children Services
Family & Children Services (F&CS) is dedicated to building strong, safe and self-sufficient individuals, families, and communities in Silicon Valley. With more than 60 years of experience serving the mental health needs of individuals and families, F&CS applies this expertise to provide high quality services that meet the current and emerging health and human services needs of our community. Annually more than 7,000 children, youth, and adults participate in F&CS’s range of services offered at more than 100 community-based locations.
F&CS’s services include mental health treatment and counseling, including psychiatric care, for all ages; school-based counseling and family support services; early childhood mental health care; family violence and abuse prevention; court-based case management and mental health services for individuals with mental health diagnoses; counseling and family support services for children and adults who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing; and intensive support services to promote the success of youth aging out of the foster care system. Through these services, F&CS’s clinical staff supports clients in becoming healthier, more stable, and more self-sufficient, while enhancing the safety of homes, schools, and neighborhoods. Clients are primarily low-income.
The generous support of Valle Monte League, Inc. enables F&CS to make these services available to individuals and families in the South Bay who are under served and would otherwise not receive needed care and treatment. Our Board of Directors and staff are honored to partner with Valle Monte League, Inc. to create a stronger and healthier South Bay community. Supported since 1954
